I bought this for it's projection capability. As far as the alarm clock/radio portion of it I think it is as good as any other basic model. The projection number size and brightness was just fine on our 8' ceilings. It takes up less space at the base than other models which is another plus.Buy Memorex MC2896 Projection Clock Radio!
