Da-Lite's model B 60"x60" screen is great for multimedia presentations and great for the home theater! We just got one with/for our projector and it is great to make the picture quality more clear! It is easy to taughten it and draw it for your comfort! Panasonic PT-47WX42 42-Inch 16:9 HDTV-Ready Projection TV

This is a good TV. I've owned mine for about 3.5 years. The picture is good, and DVDs with a progressive scan player play great in 480p. Regular TV is what you'd expect with a projection TV, and the angles are really not that bad.

Two cons, though. The TV has a great deal of depth dimension. This has gotten way better for TVs, recently, but still even for its time was deeper than most projection TVs. If I hadn't "carved" out a locaton for its bulk, it would be a room hog.
The second con is this: 1080i stinks. When I got this TV, most DVD players (and computer video cards, for that matter) were 480p, for TV output. Recently I got a HD computer video card and tried hooking it up, thinking 1080i would be fine. It's not. The flicker was horrendous. I tried switching to 720p, it's not available. At the time I purchased, it was "from 480i to 1080i capable" the only supported modes are 480i, 480p, and 1080i. If you're using this for regular cable, satellite, or rabbit ears, as well as progressive scan DVDs, this unit is fine. The screen is really light and thin, making it easy to transport. It is extremely easy to handle. After having turned the two hidden feet and opened the carry-box, all you need to do is to lift one handle to get your screen at the height you want. Sony Grand WEGA KDF-50E2000 50-Inch 3LCD Rear Projection Television

Unfortunately after owning this set for 18 months, it has developed a blue haze in the upper right and upper left corners of the screen. It seems that this issue has appeared in several Sony rear proj. LCD models including this one. It's very expensive to repair and seems to stem from dust infiltration which is inevitable. The cost of repair exceeds half of the origainal purchase price. Lamps are expensive as well.
