First Off let me just say that when I bought from electronic expo from amazon I had paid for the The samsung tv and extra shipping for the tv. When my tv didnt arrive at the date it was suppose I called. then this when the fun began fist a woman gets on the phone and tells me that they no longer have the tv in stock and wouldnt know when they would get them in, which made me very upset. Then she said they would give me a 65 inch mitibishi in place of the 61 Inch so i said ok then i asked would i Get the 450 dollers back for the extra shipping since my original tv never came, she said yes , and that she wanted to call back the next day to conform it, i said ok. I called back the next day then this A## hole got on the phone talking about he didint no anything about that and that me tracking number was wrong and he didnt know about my purchase. So this is when I really started to get angry and was about to curse him out when his supervisor got on the phone and told me he new what happened and that my tv would take another week but i woulnt get the money i paid for expedied shipping back so at this point I lost money, didnt get my tv, at the right date and time, and i never got the tv a shopped online for, then I had to deal with elextronic expos Sh@it, man they really pissed me off. I bought this screen for our home theater after reading many reviews of the major brands (Stewart, Dalite, etc.). Someone on a message board recommended this brand (which I'd never heard of before). The price was so much lower (about 1/3 the price) that I figured it was worth a shot. I'm very happy I decided to buy this. My wife and I put it together and had it hanging on the wall in about an hour and a half, working at a leisurely pace. The screen surface (always under tension) is perfectly taut and the black velvet surround looks great. The first couple days it smelled like a giant beach ball in the theater, but that's to be expected and it soon went away. I purchased this screen in August (even after I read the horrible reviews) but did not get the chance to hang it until mid September. As soon as I removed from the box I knew immediately that the tension rod was worthless. The screen fell straight to the floor and would not retract. By this time Amazon's 30 day return period had just passed and they wouldn't even exchange it (I guess they knew it was a piece of junk too)so the Amazon rep told me to use the 1 yr warranty to replace it. THAT WAS THE BEST ADVICE EVER. Elite's customer service was great!!!! I received a replacement screen in about 10 days. Once hung, the screen retracts smoothly with no special tricks to get it up...so in a nut shell buy the screen at the next to nothing cost that Amazon sells it for and if you get a bad screen use the warranty. This is an excellent screen. The construction is great and the screen stays stretched nice and tight. My only complaint would be that the silver frame reflects light so you need to be sure you aim your projector properly and dont have too much overscan. I purchased this TV a week ago. It arrived on a Friday; I took it out of the packaging and put it on the stand on Saturday; I went through the menus and set it up on Sunday; and Monday the screen wouldn't come on (and hasn't come on since).

I opened a service ticket with Samsung with my warranty: they sent a tech out to my house to replace the system board, which had no effect. So I'm now waiting on a replacement DMD board, but they're out of stock, so this may be a while.

After countless hours of watching different types of movies in BluRay and Regular DVD format along with various games on the PS3, I am very pleased with this screen. I am using a Sony Bravia VPLAW-10 projector at the max throw range and the picture is great. Yes, there is a little screen door effect if you sit closer than where I have my theatre seats, but I don't notice it. It's like a mini-movie theatre in my house.
